Well, what has been happening in the Comox valley this week. Tomiko sent off a series of questions to the candidates for the local bye election as part of her work for the Cycling Coalition and all but one replied. You can check out all their thoughts on sustainable transport at www.cyclecv.ca. In the shop we've been sprucing up the outside, erecting lots of new signs and hanging baskets. There is an awful lot of work to do but we're getting there little by little, and then Courtenay will have the best bicycle/coffee house in world. And no we're not the only one, there's a bike cafe in San Fran called Mojo. And it looks awesome so we have a high bar. Happy riding everyone, Add Comment Post Title. 11/02/2009
This week has been a busy one, halloween was celebrated, Olympic torches were carried, orders for Spring were made. As well as our Louis Garneau line we are bringing on two more lines for the spring time. We'll keep things under wraps for now as a nice surprise but if anyone is looking for touring bikes built to their specifications, or heavy duty commuter bikes you will be pleased with our choices. The coffee shop too is moving from strength to strength, we're making muffins and scones on site now after Tria has furnished us with their delicious recipes. So that will be hot tasty muffins straight from the oven everyday. yum yum Other than that we are keeping our heads down and working through all the ideas that customers have suggested. And doing our best to get out riding through the autumn foliage in Courtenay and Comox. Dodge the downpours and it is more rewarding than easy summer riding. All the best, | Michael Collins
