Our store may be shiny and new but we have over thirty years experience in the world of bike mechanics.
And with 3 full time professional mechanics on staff we offer you two promises:

  • All bikes will be repaired by 4:00pm the next day.
  • All customers will be given a quote and we will stick to that quote.

Convenient Hours

We open at 7:30 am Monday - Friday mornings, so you can bring your bike in for service before work and pick it up on your way home on the same day.

If biking is your way to get to work, then good for you. You can take our loaner for the day and you wont have to miss your daily ride.

Here at The Broken Spoke we believe that knowledge is power, especially when it comes to bikes!
We want to Empower you to fix your own bike.

The Broken Spoke will be starting a full range of courses in mid-September, from fixing flats to building wheels. At our store we have a dedicated room where each participant will have their own stand and a full complement of tools at their disposal.

Courses are for small numbers (4-person limit) to maximise student-teacher time, and can be booked through our website, by phone (250-871-2229) or in person. We also offer the ability for groups to take part (up to 8). For more details check out the courses section of the website.
